I made a few tweaks to the Broken Unions articles today. Nothing major, but thought you might like to know.
Corrected the spelling of Captain Wigginton’s name throughout all four parts.
Moved the image and transcription of Willis Scott’s marriage from part three to part four.
In part three, paragraph six, I changed the line that originally read “…and the loss of William had ravaged his soul…” to read “…and the loss of William weighed on his soul.” I never did like the “ravaged his soul” version and just now thought of the new take.
In part four, deleted a reference to William Brown’s son marrying Martha Jane Scott, as it hadn’t happened yet at that point in the timeline.
Also, in the 1866 Alabama Census post, added an image caption that I forgot to include.
