Ruel Ellison McClung
Ruel Ellison McClung of Yuba City[1] passed away on November 25, 2008 at his residence, surrounded by his Family. He was born on July 8, 1924 in Marshall, Arkansas.
Ruel served in the US Army in WW II. and also worked as a Construction Foreman for several construction companies in the local area.
He was a member of Christian Life Assembly of God Church in Gridley, CA and was a member of Masonry Union Local, Chico, CA.
Ruel is survived by his daughter Yvonne McVey; sisters Dalphna Treat[2] and Dora Graham[3]; 1 grandson, 4 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his wife Alma McClung[4] and grandson Steven McVey.
Visitation will be at Ullrey Memorial Chapel on Sunday from 12:00 Noon to 3:00 pm. Services will be conducted Monday at 2:00 pm at Sutter Community Assembly of God Church, Sutter CA with Pastor Dwight Deaton, officiating. Burial will follow at Sutter Cemetery. Arrangements by Ullrey Memorial Chapel.

Alvin Graham is the brother of Alphie Graham, he and his wife Lareta live in the Watts area of Searcy Co., AR. Alphie and Alvin are my 2nd cousins! Alvin lives in Marysville, CA.
