This is the obituary for my aunt Lorice Graham, née Shaw. I do not know in which newspapers it was published. I found it posted on her memorial at Find A Grave.

Martha L. Graham

Martha L. Graham¹, 69, passed away July 27th, 2004, in Mountain View.

She was born August 19, 1934 in Risco, Missouri. She was a resident of Marshall, Arkansas.

She was a homemaker and a Baptist.

She was preceded in death by husband Vernon and one son Robert Daniel Graham.

Survivors include two daughters, Connie House of Marshall, Patricia Harrington of  Homer Glen, Illinois; one brother, Robert Shaw of Warsaw, Missouri; two sisters, Shirley Ling of LaForge, Missouri and Mary Lyons of LaForge, Missouri; 9 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren.

Funeral services were July 30, 2004 at Roller Coffman Chapel with David Diffey officiating.

Burial was in Marshal Memorial Gardens under the direction of the Roller Coffman Funeral Home of Marshall.

Pallbearers were Paul Harmon, Eddie Cypert, Robin Briggs, Bill Broyles, John Harrington, Gene Graham, Alpha Graham.

Notes

1. The “L.” stood for Lorice, and that’s what we called her. I didn’t know anyone that called her Martha.
